Day 17 Kinross to Blair Atholl - Twixt Tay and Tummell

After our in-room breakfasts, ready to hit the road.
A helpful facility also provided by the Muirs Inn in Kinross.
The first of many views of the Tay today...
A long descent into beautiful Perth.
Thanks to Simon and TJ for making us film stars for the day, as part of their Perth promotional video, hope it doesn't put anyone off! Thanks also to Simon for the donation to our cause.
We also bumped into George from Rod's roof lab - not the only surprise meeting of the day... And another donation - thanks George!
And all this was before coffee at Reid's Coffee shop in Perth - wonderful coffee, great cakes!
Crossing the Tay into Dunkeld - highest flow river in Europe apparently!
Traditional beef stovies for lunch at the Tay Bank Hotel in Dunkeld - filling!
Second surprise meeting of the day: Ian and Sandra, Ish's brother-in-law's brother and partner, bumped into on another bridge over the Tay. Amazing timing and coincidence!
Another trip over the Tay, this time on a very bouncy mini suspension bridge.
The detour through the woods, across a tiny bridge over the Tummell, round to rejoin the route to Blair Atholl. Adventure!
Made it to the Bridge of Tilt Hotel in Blair Atholl, for dinner with Ish's parents - another great day! Can we keep this up?!
